The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) Review: A Much More Brave and Realistic Spider-Man

Even though it's been technically 5 years since the release of Spider-Man 3 (2007) , in fact, the audience and fanboy feelings of “traumatic” towards the closing film for the Sam Raimi trilogy are still very much felt.

So when they found out that Sony and Marvel would be making another new Spider-Man movie with a new Spidey actor, it's no wonder fans were very nervous. Of course, they don't want to experience the double trauma of a film featuring Andrew Garfield ( The Social Network ) as this new Spidey.

Well, if you still remember, when The Amazing Spider-Man was finally released in July 2012, the reaction that this film received was very mixed. Some like it, but some get the double trauma.

But what about now? Is the Spider-Man film directed by Marc Webb ( 500 Days of Summer ) really more traumatic or does it treat the traumatic feeling of Spider-Man 3 ? Let's just look at the following review of The Amazing Spider-Man .

Review The Amazing Spider-Man

Well , let's just answer the question. Basically, after watching this film again, I feel that this film is not a perfect Spider-Man film, let alone amazing . But at least, the film is still very entertaining.

Apart from the performance of the first-class actors, one thing I like about The Amazing Spider-Man is that this film and its sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), take a much more realistic or grounded direction route .

Okay, okay, maybe most of you don't like directions like this. Or in other words, prefer a more fun and colorful comic like the Raimi trilogy or the MCU trilogy. And yes I understand why with this difference in taste.

The reason is also, superhero films that are more grounded are often hit & miss (depending on the superhero figure too). But for me, I like the realistic grounded binti direction shown by The Amazing Spider-Man . After all, overall this film is still very entertaining.

Different Universe, Different Everything

If after reading the reasons in the paragraph above, some of you still don't agree or don't like this film, that's okay. After all, we all have different tastes, right?

But please, the reason for the dislike is purely because of that taste. Don't let the reason be like this: "Ah, it's bad, because it's very different from the appearance of Tobey's Spider-Man trilogy" . Because yes, it's clear that this Spidey Garfield film is a different earth/universe .

So in other words, the universe is different , so everything is different. That's why, although this film returns to show the basic plot of Peter Parker's origin (Garfield) into Spider-Man and, returns to show the plot of the death of Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) as in the comics and Spider-Man film (2002), it still looks and feels different. .

Garfield Is The Refreshing Peter

Still connecting points from different universes , everything was different before. Apart from the feel and appearance of the repetition of the plot, we can see the same familiar yet different aspect through Garfield's figure as Peter/Spider-Man.

This American-British mulatto actor basically plays a character whose real name and alter-ego are the same as those played by Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland. But once again, because this film is set on Earth Amazing , then Garfield's Peter Parker also has significant differences in characteristics.

Yes, it's true that broadly speaking, some of Peter's characteristics, such as being nerdy , having a hobby of photography, and being a little awkward , are still present in Garfield's Peter. But what makes the difference for this version is that he becomes a much more daring figure.

Specifically, he dared to fight back or oppose individuals who often bully him like Flash Thompson (Chris Zylka) even when he was in conflict with Uncle Ben in this film, he dared to argue with the figure who raised him from childhood.

Oh yes, one more thing, when he invites an argument about the presence of Spider-Man in New York with his lover's father, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), George Stacy (Denis Leary). Their argument succeeded in creating one of the most uncomfortable dinner scenes in the history of cinema.

All of these aspects make me really like and care about the Peter Parker version of this film. And of course one more thing, making his figure very relatable to us.

Very Romantic Stone-Garfield Chemistry

In addition to characterizing as well as Andrew's cool and fresh performance as Spider-Man. Another cool aspect that this film shows is the chemistry between Garfield and Stone as Peter & Gwen.

Both to me look much more realistic, relatable , and also much more romantic. Indeed , the chemistry between Maguire and Kristen Dunst as Peter and Mary Jane in Sam Raimi 's Spider-Man trilogy , is also very good.

But we need to remember, that unlike Maguire and Dunst, Garfield and Stone during the making of the film were already dating. So that their real-world romantic chemistry is what they combine and match into the chemistry of Peter and Gwen.

As a result, because of this, we who witnessed it also felt the realistic chemistry that the two of them displayed in this film. And Stone herself as Gwen Stacy, hmm, that's great. It's just for some reason for me, I still see it halfway.

Specifically 50% Stacy and 50% Stone. Or in other words, not 100% like Dunst's transformation as Mary Jane used to be. However, for me, I really like and agree if Peter is with Gwen than with MJ.

Regardless of her interests, hobbies, and mutual support, Gwen looks and feels much more understanding and fits perfectly with Peter.

Lizard's Confusing Motivation

Now that we have discussed the positive aspects of the film, let's now discuss the negative aspects of The Amazing Spider-Man . For me, it's not really that much. There's only one thing that really bothers me.

Yes, as you read from the sub-heading of this discussion, the disturbing thing is related to the motivation of the main villain , Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans). I'll be honest, so what's the motivation of this mentor and friend of Peter's father?

Okay, first we were told that his goal was to develop cross-species gene cross-experiments because he was "pursuing deposits". Specifically, the results of the experiment, if it is successfully applied to humans, will be used to heal the dying OsCorp boss, Norman Osborn.

But after that he was shown trying the results of the experiment himself because almost one of his hands was cut off. Now when he injected and regrows his arm, slowly but surely he became the iconic Spider-Man villain , Lizard.

Then after becoming a Lizard, he has a new motivation or plan: Wants to make all New Yorkers "cured" and free from various physical disorders or diseases. Yes, just like him. As a result, he took the initiative to spread through the air the green serum that regenerated his arm.

One Motivation Is Enough

Now seeing the lack of clarity of motivation, as a result, it makes us really confused and doesn't care about the villain who in the hit comics and animated series of the 90s is actually one of the most sympathetic characters.

If only he had only one motivation, surely the Lizard figure in this film would be much cooler and we also care about him like in his 90s comics or animated series. As a result, because of all of this, in the end, Lizard's selection as the main villain became unclear and very pushy.

Fortunately, Ifans showed a cool and maximum performance. If it weren't for the actor who also played Xenophilius Lovegood in the Harry Potter franchise , I guarantee the Lizard in this film would be even more destroyed.

Not Perfect But Still Fun

But fortunately, through this review of The Amazing Spider-Man , I can say that these shortcomings have been successfully covered by presenting the plot and characters which are quite fresh. Indeed , The Amazing Spider-Man is essentially a reboot of Raimi's Spider-Man , but Webb has managed to make this reboot the best it can be.

Even if the maximum effort is still not perfect, please understand. Apart from the fact that Raimi's trilogy is still much more fun , Webb is also not a superhero film director . But regardless, of course we have to give a round of applause for his efforts in this film.

After all, once again, The Amazing Spider-Man is still fun and enjoyable for us to watch. Moreover, with the realistic concept of grounded binti that is carried, no doubt it makes us more enjoy watching this film.

That was the review of The Amazing Spider-Man . Now I want to know, are you one of those who like or don't really like this Spider-Man reboot ?

Review of Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019): A More Mature and Plotted Sequel

After the success and high enthusiasm that Spider-Man: Homecoming (2019) got, automatically a sequel will definitely be produced. And finally the long-awaited sequel was released in July 2019.

Titled Spider-Man: No Way Home , just like other MCU films , fans are anticipating this sequel. One of the reasons, of course, is because he wants to see the fate of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man (Tom Holland) after his mentor, Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) left.

As we know ( well, SPOILER ALERT! for those who don't know), Iron Man died after fighting and sacrificing against Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers: Endgame (2019). And since watching the trailer , it's this aspect of the premise that will be raised by Spider-Man: Far From Home .

However, apart from this premise, the film also features the premise of Peter, who and his school friends go on a school trip to Europe. Then last but not least, the film, which was directed by Jon Watts again, will feature the villain Quentin Beck aka Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).

Seeing these 3 different premises, can this film tackle all of them well? Just take a look at the following Spider-Man: Far From Home review .

Trauma & Paranoid Spider-Man 3

Although Spider-Man: Homecoming has succeeded in removing our trauma from the previous disappointing Spider-Man films, the trauma reappears when we want to watch the sequel.

Because as you read in the first paragraph, this film will show and complete these 3 different premises. And as we remember, the main reason why Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 (2007) was a disappointment is because of that factor.

Or in other words, the film wants to tackle 3 issues at once in one film. But again, our trauma and paranoia are not proven at all. The reason is, Watts has successfully handled the 3 issues faced by Peter at once very well.

Pacing Is Much More Enjoyable And Fun Than Homecoming

The main success factor for Watts is of course his patience and genius in arranging the pacing of the film. I can even say that Far From Home's pacing is much better than Homecoming's .

Watts, together with the screenplay writers , Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers ( The Lego Batman Movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle ), succeeded in presenting a script that was very clever in setting the tension.

They are really cool in arranging the plot so that even those of us who are watching, it feels good to flow scene by scene. No moment feels a little empty and obscure like Homecoming .

And also of course, the handling of the 3 different premises mentioned earlier, is also handled very neatly. The three different premises, successfully blended very coherently. There is no premise that looks like a hitchhiking or not being handled just like that.

The Rising and Mature Peter

In addition to the ability of Watts and the team that makes the storyline feel very comfortable and organized, another cool aspect of Far From Home is the maturity of Peter.

Indeed, when we know that this film will highlight Peter's attitude as both himself and Spider-Man without the presence of Tony, we can already guess that he will be much more mature and mature.

Well , that's right. But what surprises him here, is his maturity and maturity beyond our expectations. Holland can really display Peter's vulnerability but at the same time, he also successfully displays his tenacity.

He is also even still able to display his typical Peter joke in the midst of the fragility that Peter feels throughout the film. As a result, with the quality of his appearance, we too can see Holland's maturity which is very capable as an actor.

MJ The Bigger His Role

In addition to showing Peter's increasingly mature figure, this sequel also shows the maturity and increasing capacity of the supporting characters' roles. Especially here of course, Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya).

The two of them weren't just Peter's friends anymore. Moreover, MJ, as we can see, is more comfortable and engrossed with Peter. It's very different from his attitude towards Peter in Homecoming , who is still like a stalker .

Even further, the figure of MJ here has increasingly clearly shown that he likes Peter. And Peter was the other way around, he was very excited. Now speaking of the delivery of the MJ-Peter romance sub-plot, unfortunately I have a problem with this aspect.

The name of the film must be explained clearly

And the problem that I have with this sub-plot of the seeds of MJ-Peter's romance, is (and maybe this is just from my point of view, yeah) it doesn't explain how Peter first had a crush on MJ.

Okay, we can say that between the period after Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers Infinity War (before Spidey was blip ) and a few months before Far From Home , Peter and MJ have been slowly doing sneak peeks and other approaches.

Okay, we understand that this is possible. After all, in the real world we are like that, aren't we with our crush? But this is not the real world man! It's a movie. Film, is a medium of storytelling that must be explained all in all.

So yes, once again, I'm a little annoyed with Peter who suddenly has a big crush on MJ without at least explaining the beginning of PDKT through Peter's audio narration.

Mysterio's Motivation Is Very Generic and Less Emotional

In addition to the lack of narrative explanations for PDKT MJ and Peter, other shortcomings are again, again, and again in the villain department . I don't know, what's wrong with Marvel with this villain . Yes, they are indeed evil characters, but don't just let them be maximized.

Resident Evil Review: Welcome to Raccoon City, Similar to Game But Forced

Regardless, some of us like the Resident Evil action- zombie game adaptation featuring Milla Jovovich as the main character, Alice. Still in general, the film series is not liked by its game fans .

The reason is that the 6 RE Jovovich films do not adapt the story in the game . This film only takes the game elements . Therefore, it is not surprising that when they learned about this adaptation reboot , many fanboys were immediately hyped up.

The hype is getting more and more ridiculous when watching the trailer . The reason is, the movie trailer displays the exact same set and character appearance as in the game . There are dog zombies, bald zombies, lickers , and even Lisa Trevor (Marina Mazepa).

Oh yes, one more thing, as we have seen from the trailer or the articles discussed, this film is basically an adaptation of the first 3 games . With all these facts, then is the reboot that has followed the RE game really as expected?

Similar Game But Still Disappointing

Well without further ado, unfortunately Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City , is still a disappointing end result. Yes, it's a pity, isn't it? All these positive hopes were immediately shattered after watching the film.

Okay, as said at the beginning of this Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City review , one thing we can respect from the film. Specifically, at least this film has tried really hard to be similar to the game both in appearance and plot.

But unfortunately at the same time, it is precisely the plot that becomes a double-edged sword for this film. That is, because the director and scriptwriter, Johannes Roberts ( 47 Meters Down ) wants to stack the 3 game plots into one, so in the end everything looks rushed and a bit messy.

First Half Okay, Final Round Messy

Now this mess and inconsistency can be seen in the tension in the film. In the first act ( 1 st act ), the film puts forward elements of a suspense thriller .

As a result, the spotlight on Racoon City Orphanage which is the home of Chris and little Claire Redfield (Daxton Gray Gurjal & Lauren Bill) also looks tense. Even when the figure of Lisa Trevor is highlighted for the first time, it successfully makes us shudder gokil.

The point is that both past and present storytelling are still okay. Even when watching an adult Claire (Kaya Scodelario) return to RacCoon City, which clearly adapted the opening scene similar to the remake of Resident Evil 2 (2019), everything was still really good.

However, towards the finale, this film immediately swerved to tell the story of the Raccoon city that would be destroyed. And of course all the characters in this film should come out soon. Well , because of this, things look pretty messy.

Should Adapt 1-2 Games Only

Yes, we really love that. In fact, all of this can really be avoided. Specifically, if the film only adapted 1 or 2 games , the end result would be much tastier and more effective.

Or, yes 1 game only. So to be honest, I was really confused from the start when I found out that this film will tell and unify the plots of the 3 films. Will it be handled well?

Because as we know the story in each of the first 3 games , it must take hours to tell it really clearly and completely. That's it, still need more sequels right?

Okay maybe we can say technically the events in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis are only 2-3 days apart in the same location.

But again, the plots of the two are still separate, aren't they? Can you imagine the plot of the two games being forced into one game ? Of course, Jill's plot to escape from Raccoon City by facing her Nemesis here and there will not be satisfying.

Likewise, what will happen to the plots of Claire and Leon in RE 2. The games are separated separately. So why did Roberts decide to combine all three at once?

Very Minimal and Inappropriate Duration

Already adapting 3 long plots at once, the duration is minimal. Wow how is this boss? As I said in the previous 1-2 game adaptation paragraph , 1 game alone takes more than 2 hours to explain all the plots.

Well, the duration of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, launched from the Wikipedia page of this film, is 107 minutes. 107 MINUTES! 2 hours did not arrive. So how about once again with this short duration, the film wants to complete its 3 plots really satisfactorily?

With what the film has done, we end up not seeing some of the deep character and story development we see in each of the three games .

Even the favorite female character of all male fans , who has also been announced to appear in this film, does not appear in the main plot. He is present, but only appears in the mid-credits scene .

Of course, you know who the character is if you claim to have played or even a fanboy of the RE game. Yep, that's right, Ada Wong (Lily Gao). He just appeared in the mid-credits scene and has a pretty imaginative scene with Albert Wesker (Tom Hopper).

So yep, don't expect us to see a re-creation of whatever scene happened between Ada and Leon. Yes I know. Very disappointing isn't it?

Spider-Man Review: No Way Home (2021): The Perfect End To The MCU Spidey Trilogy

This Spider-Man: No Way Home review contains no SPOILERS!

Finally, the film, which is probably the most anticipated of all the 2021 releases, has arrived. YES!

And it's undeniable that since the beginning of December 2021 yesterday the release date was announced, all moviegoers in this world (whether they be fanboys or just ordinary) are really impatient.

Especially the Indonesian audience and fanboys . “REALLY AWESOME!” This is evidenced by the number of pre-order tickets for the third MCU Spider-Man film from almost 1-2 weeks earlier. Even so vicious, as we know, some time ago there was a horrendous case.

Yes, especially if it's not the case of the overload & error of the Tix-id site ? Specifically, those who may not know yet, because many have ordered Spider-Man: No Way Home H-1 tickets before the game date, December 15, 2021, many are "stuck" with the tickets.

As a result, like it or not, Tix-id had to refund a number of audiences whose tickets could not be redeemed. This is very unfortunate indeed. But at the same time, it also shows that the Spider-Man: No Way Home hype is no joke.

And I am very sure, some of you must have been "victims" of the ferocity of this third film directed by Jon Watts. So, is the quality of Spider-Man: No Way Home really as crazy as the hype and the crowd?

Just take a look at the following Spider-Man: No Way Home review .

Will only discuss what is in the trailer

So, before going into the review of Spider-Man: No Way Home , I want to remind you of one important thing. Considering when writing this review , it's only been about 4-5 days after the release of the film, so I'm sure there are still many who haven't seen the film.

Therefore, this entire review of Spider-Man: No Way Home will more or less only discuss the quality of the film, the quality of acting, and also discuss what has appeared in the trailer . So it's very safe.

And I REALLY beg those of you who have watched it, PLEASE DON'T BE SELF AND GROW EMPATHY to those who haven't watched it okay?

MCU Spidey Trilogy Best Movies

Okay, let's jump right into this Spider-Man: No Way Home review with the overall response to the film. Well , I can say that what those who have seen it say are absolutely true (whether it's a layman or a fanboy ).

This is the best Spider-Man movie in the MCU Spidey trilogy. Or let's just call it, "Home Trilogy" . Anyway, this movie is really cool. Everything we expect appears here. And for those of you who are fanboys of the comics, you will still be very satisfied. Let's just say this is Spidey from the MCU universe / earth so you don't need to compare it to the comics too much.

Whether it's plot, acting, visuals, surprises, everything is complete here. So yes, if you were a little disappointed yesterday with the previous 2 films, you will be very satisfied with this film.

Still Not The Best Spider-Man Movie Of All Time

But even though Spider-Man: No Way Home is the best film of all the Home Trilogy films , unfortunately for me, it's still not the best live-action Spider-Man film of all time. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 (2004) is still the best so far.

Why is that? Because the weight of the emotional conflict shown in this film is still not as powerful as the one in the sequel to Spider-Man (2002). In this sequel, we are also swept away when we see Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) feeling very indecisive whether he wants to continue living his double life or not at all.

And when we decide to stop being Spidey, we see a much bigger impact that is very significant. Now, it is the highlighting of this inner conflict that makes this film, and the first film, still considered the best film to this day.

Indeed, once again, Spider-Man: No Way Home has moments like that. But still not as powerful as in Spider-Man 2 .

But that's okay. Because if ranked in the list of the 8 best live-action Spider-Man films so far, No Way Home still occupies the third position. Not a bad rating right?

Very Neat Story and Character Arrangement

Another cool factor of Spider-Man: No Way Home is the very neat arrangement of the story and characters. Honestly, even though Watts and his team have succeeded in removing the trauma from Spider-Man 3 (2007) with the previous 2 films, the trauma reappeared a little when watching the trailer for No Way Home .

But unlike the trauma with Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) which technically also features a lot of villains , at least the trauma that is feared for this closing film is not too big. Because we can still make sense of the presence of many Spidey classic villains in this film.

Specifically, because the plot concept is a multiverse , it is only natural that there are 5 villains appearing in this film. What we are actually a little worried about is the way Watts and the scriptwriter duo, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers neatly organize the story and all of the characters.

Well , I can say that they all, like us, know this anxiety. And because of this high awareness, as a result, the arrangement of the five villains is neatly arranged. Anyway, nothing is stuffed or forced.

Yes, indeed there are those who get a bigger portion even in the end, becoming the main villain of the film. But still the average other villain , getting a very fitting portion.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA: A MONSTROUS EXCHANGE, THE CAST: "HARD TO ADMIT IT'S ALL OVER"

On the occasion of the debut of Hotel Transylvania: A Monstrous Exchange on Prime Video, we met some of the original voices.

Almost ten years after the first chapter's film debut, Sony Pictures Animation's hit franchise concludes on Prime Video with its fourth feature, Hotel Transylvania: A Monstrous Exchange . On the occasion of this farewell, the international press attended a special online conference, with part of the original voice cast: Andy Samberg (Johnny), Selena Gomez (Mavis), Keegan-Michael Key (Murray the mummy), David Spade ( Griffin, the invisible man), and Fran Drescher(Eunice, the wife of Frankenstein's monster). A funny meeting, also due to technical problems (Gomez's connection was interrupted for several minutes towards the end, causing router problems at the star's home), and with a clarification about the great absence in the film: Adam Sandler, voice of Dracula in the first three films, this tour is missing due to other commitments. Spade explains: " Adam had, I think, three other films in the works at the same time. " Adds Drescher: " Luckily it's very easy to imitate the voice he uses for Dracula, it's not particularly like how he talks in life. "

New challenges

Hotel Transylvania: A monstrous exchange revolves around the odd premise of transformation: Professor Van Helsing has invented a contraption that can turn humans into monsters, and vice versa. How did the actors react when they saw the designs for these new versions of their characters? Andy Samberg begins : " I love it, it's a cross between a backpacker and Godzilla, which is what I dreamed of being as a child. " David Spade , on the other hand, explains how his intervention led to changes: " When they showed me the version Griffin's human, was initially good-looking, looked a bit like Bradley Cooper. I pointed out that in my opinion, since he goes for a walk with monsters and is probably not in shape, something more funny would make sense. Also because it is a family film, these characters should also make you laugh in terms of physical appearance. " Keegan Michael Key was surprised:" I expected Murray to be overweight, because I thought he only had a layer of bandages. When I saw that he was going to be thin and very low, it affected my performance, because I had to give him a completely different voice than usual. "Another question for Samberg: Does animation affect comic timing?"Not particularly, also because at the fourth film we know what the visual style is and what they expect from us. And it's nice to be able to do these projects, because they don't ask you to be measured, you can exaggerate as much as you want. "

Say goodbye to the hotel

What will this cast miss from the franchise after ten years of adventures? Selena Gomez , after being offline for a few minutes, returns with an answer that is linked to the concept of complicity with other actors at junket and events such as the Toronto International Film Festival, where the world premiere of the progenitor took place: " I remember that I was with Andy for some interviews, and they started asking me questions about my private life. And he answered for me! ". Fran Drescher is very attached to her character: " I will miss Eunice, I love her look and her role in the franchise, she is a kind of mother figure. " Keegan-Michael Key is interested in the final result: "Every time I see the finished film it is a great emotion, because the artistic and technical level is very high. I'll miss that, to be able to see the new movies. "David Spade thinks in similar terms:" Yes, it's nice to see the full movie, also because now that it comes out you have already started working on the next one, and so when the audience asks if there will be another one you can answer yes. It's a shame that the saga is over, but I'm happy because the four films are all successful in my opinion. "Samberg becomes a little melancholy:" I still don't want to admit that it's all over, because I had a lot of fun. I'll miss everything: the dubbing, the cast, the junket, everything. "

THE BATMAN: ARRIVE THE OREOS IN LIMITED EDITION OF THE FILM WITH ROBERT PATTINSON

In order to advertise The Batman, it was decided to make a limited edition of the famous Oreo cookies with the image of Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight.

Chiara Missio of Mondeléz Europe added: " We are thrilled to share the partnership between Oreo and The Batman with fans in Europe. It is an amazing opportunity to create a fun experience together with a much loved icon. The narrative is built on puzzles and it allows fans to have fun and immerse themselves in the world of Batman beyond the movie. I run to you : Pierfrancesco Favino and Miriam Leone together for the first time

The new comedy directed by Riccardo Milani and out in cinemas on February 10 promises emotion and laughter thanks to the couple formed by Favino and Leone

What would a serial seducer be willing to do in order to get the woman he interests to end up in his network? We will find out in Corro da te, the new film by Riccardo Milani who, after the success of C ome un gatto in tangenziale - Return to Coccia di Morto , returns to the cinema from 10 February with a romantic comedy starring two champions who, up to today, they had never met: Pierfrancesco Favino and Miriam Leone. I run to you , inspired by the movie Tout le Monde Bebout, written and directed by Franck Dubosc in collaboration with Gaumont, it is the story of Gianni (Favino), a man of almost fifty at the head of an important brand of running shoes who, at a certain point, pretends to be on a wheelchair to conquer the young lady on duty.

But when he meets Chiara (Leone), a sunny and optimistic woman, a musician for work and a tennis player for passion despite the accident that made her paraplegic , Gianni begins to have a completely different kind of feelings for her. Thanks to his closeness and his influence, Gianni will be able to change the perspective on many things: life, love, disability itself, learning that the only real handicap is the lack of fortitude. The film, which also stars Carlo De Ruggieri and Pietro Sermonti, Vanessa Scalera , Michele Placido, Giulio Base and the great Piera degli Esposti in her latest interpretation , among others, has all the credentials to catalyze the attention of the spectators especially from the Pierfrancesco Favino-Miriam Leone duo who, already from the trailer, reveals a palpable alchemy.

The two actors, who over the years have managed to build a very solid career thanks to increasingly strong and appreciated interpretations by the public and critics , compete, in this round, with a bittersweet title capable of combining the fun of misunderstandings and suffering. of unveiling, offering that range of conflicting emotions that only two professionals like them are able to return on screen. Corro da te is written by Furio Andreotti, Giulia Calenda and by Riccardo Milani himself.
